Terms of Purchase and Guarantee


A $500.00 deposit will reserve a puppy.  Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. The puppy must be paid for in full at time of pick up. There are no refunds once the puppy has been purchased, full or partial. Puppies will not be homed before they are 12 weeks old. Every effort will be made by the seller to assure that the puppy is healthy when it is delivered to the buyer. The buyer is responsible for all medical expenses incurred from the date of delivery.

The buyer must take the dog to a veterinarian for a complete physical examination within 5 days of receiving the puppy. The cost of the examination will be paid by the buyer. If the buyer does not take the puppy to a veterinarian in the 5 days this and all warranty is void. The seller must be notified immediately of the results of the examination. If the veterinarian finds the dog to be a poor health risk or detects any physical health problems that would require further veterinary care, the buyer must notify the seller IMMEDIATELY. A report of the results from the veterinarian must be faxed to the seller within 24 hours. The seller's veterinarian will verify the results.

The puppy will be guaranteed for 12 months against any life threatening defects. This includes severe hip dysphasia which requires surgery to correct. It also covers kidney, heart (murmur over grade 4), pancreases, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening nature. If the puppy is found to have a life threatening defect, a complete report from the buyer's veterinarian must be faxed to the seller within 48 hours after the determination. If the puppy dies within this six month period, the buyer will pay for a necropsy to ascertain the reason for death. If the reason is congenital, the seller will replace the puppy with one of the same value, to be determined by the seller. A replacement puppy may not be available immediately. The buyer will wait until a puppy from a future litter is available. No monetary refunds will be made. Seller does not cover veterinarian bills. Puppies sold with a Limited Registration do not have a health guarantee. The health guarantee is not valid if the dog has been sold or transferred to a new owner. If the pup in your care has been treated for any injury the contract is null and void...Pup must be seen by a veterinarian within 5 days for contract to be valid all paperwork from said veterinarian must be faxed or mailed for contract to be valid. 

When the purchaser keeps said dog, the breeder may refund a lifetime maximum of up to one half in total of the price of the dog (before tax) at purchase in vet bills.  Note that only the health issues outlines above willbe considered.  The purchaser must provide proof of spay/neuter.  The breeder will decide on the refund amount to the purchaser.  The refund will be based on the dog's condition and its further effects on their life.  The breeder has the right to request further opinions in case of x-rays, eye, and/or heart examinations.  Obtaining further opinions will be the responsibility of the purchaser.  The breeder may request to have any reports or x-rays sent to their veterinarian.

The health guarantee does not cover the following: Treatment for internal or external parasites or bacteria, Parvovirus (after the first 5 days of leaving our care), cherry eye, entropian, ectropian, loose hips, loose knees, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, and small or collapsed nostrils, bad or uneven bites, undesended testicles, Demodex, mange, inguinal or umbilical hernias, fleas, ticks, ear mites, coccidia, kennel cough, Giardia, thyroid dysfunction.

There is no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy, regardless of show or breeding potential at the time of purchase. There is no money back if you the buyer decides the pup isn't to your liking.  No puppies sold are CKC registered. All puppies are sold AS pets, prices listed on the website are pet pricing . All Puppies SOLD AS PETS must provide proof of spay or neuter

What is the return policy?

We do not take returning a puppy lightly.  We try to minimze this from happening by trying to get to know our puppy parents before they adopt, and if needed supporting the parent(s) before the decision of returning the puppy is definite.  Sometimes a little info goes a long way.

Following the adoption if you decide that you want to return the puppy for any reason other than congenital health defects (which are covered by our health guarantee) our policy is as follows:

French Bullies will keep $500 (this is a non-refundable deposit), as well as 20% of the new selling price. The reselling price may be lower than the original price due to puppy’s age. The refund is calculated from the new re-selling price, no refunds from the original price will be given. The buyer will only receive the refund once the puppy has been resold. 



What type of payments do you accept?

We accept E-transfers, Cash, and all major Credit Cards*.

We require $500 deposit to hold a puppy of your choice for you. This is deducted off of the price of the puppy at purchase. The puppy is not considered sold until the deposit has been received. The deposit is non-refundable. However, it can be transferred to another puppy of your choice (even in a different litter). 

*Please note that if you are paying by Credit Card, we will charge 2% surcharge fee



Do you ship?

We ship within Canada. There is a shipping flat fee of $450 CAD. This fee includes flight, travel crate and other transport costs. We will ship to the US, but we will need to acquire a quote. We also offer a puppy travel nanny service where your puppy will be accompanied during the flight. This will require a quote as well. The quote will depend on your specific destination. We ship by WestJet. Since WestJet has frequent flights into major Canadian cities, therefore it is easy to arrange the date and time for your puppy to come home!

Note that between December 14 - January 6 we are unable to ship the puppies due to holiday cargo restrictions.
